What we store
Two buckets, depending on whether you sign in.
Anonymous mode (no account)
Your coins, tokens, shards, collection, mastery, achievements, and custom training logs live in your browser'slocalStorage. We never see them. Clearing your browser data removes everything.
Signed in
We store your email (so you can sign in) and the same game-state objects above in our database (Supabase). Each row is tied to your user ID with row-level security — no other user can read it. Stripe purchase history is logged with your user ID and Stripe session ID for audit and support.
What we don't store
- Real names, addresses, phone numbers
- Health or fitness-tracker data — fitness integrations are not yet wired
- Browsing history outside this site
- Anything we sell or share with advertisers
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting. They process emails and game state on our behalf.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid packs and mythic unlocks. Card data goes directly to Stripe; we never see it.
- Vercel — site hosting and CDN. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, response codes) for ops, kept short-term.
Cookies & local storage
We use localStoragefor game state and a single Supabase auth cookie when you sign in. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics by default. If we add analytics later we'll list the provider here.
Your rights
- See your data.Sign in → Profile — everything we store about you is shown there.
- Delete your data. Email hello@animegains.app from your registered email. We will delete your account, all game state, and the waitlist entry within 30 days. EU residents have the same right under GDPR; California residents under CCPA.
- Opt out of email. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. The waitlist is opt-in only.
Kids
Anime Gains is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll bump the "last updated" date and email signed-in users. The current version always lives at this URL.
